Less administration around every nutrition appointment

Make your availability bookable and keep new and existing patients clearly informed about their appointment.

A calmer schedule from intake to review

Intakes, follow-up appointments and reviews belong to the same course of support, but they do not necessarily need the same amount of time. Tempo Booking gives the non-clinical appointment process a clear structure through recognisable appointment types, current availability and one calendar for independent dietitians or small teams.

Give each nutrition appointment the time it needs

An initial conversation usually takes a different amount of time from a short follow-up or a planned review. If they all use one generic appointment type, patients may not know what to select and the chosen slot may not fit your working day. Tempo Booking lets you create distinct appointment types, each with its own duration.

Each type is linked to the dietitian who offers it. Practice hours, individual work blocks and absences then determine which times are genuinely available. Patients can therefore select only a time when the appropriate dietitian is working, helping protect consultation time from bookings outside the intended schedule.

New and returning patients follow the same straightforward route. Their contact details, preferred language and appointment history remain available around the scheduling process. This provides a practical overview for planning and communication without turning Tempo Booking into a nutrition record or clinical treatment file.

Let patients book while the practice stays in control

Start with the intake, follow-up and review appointments that patients may choose online. For each type, set the duration and suitable dietitians. At practice level, decide whether an online booking is confirmed immediately or arrives as a request. This creates one consistent approach for the practice's online booking flow.

The shareable booking page or widget shows only times that fit the configured availability. A request or confirmed appointment then enters the same calendar where changes are managed. An independent practitioner retains a concise overview, while a small team shares the same current practice workspace.

Confirmations, changes and reminders can be sent from the appointment flow. There is no need to copy the same booking information into a separate communication process. The patient's preferred language supports a consistent experience across the appointment messages that are available in Tempo Booking.

A practical route for ongoing support

Consider a new patient who books an intake through your website. The booking page displays only suitable times with a dietitian linked to that appointment type. Once confirmed, the appointment is visible in your calendar and the patient receives the related communication. A later follow-up or review can be scheduled as a separate appointment.

If the appointment changes, you update it in Tempo Booking and the communication follows its current status. A dietitian's absence is reflected in the online offering. The same route therefore works for first conversations and later contact without requiring patients to understand the scheduling rules behind the available times.

Tempo Booking supports appointment scheduling and communication in this workflow. It does not provide nutrition records, treatment plans or healthcare billing. Recurring appointments are planned individually; automatic appointment series are not part of this functionality. The current practice workspace is also designed for one location.
