Clear scheduling for assessments, reviews and treatments

Combine appointment duration, care provider and availability so patients only see suitable times.

A current schedule for every assessment and treatment

Assessments, reviews and treatments follow one another in a podiatry practice, but each needs an appropriate duration and care provider. Tempo Booking brings these differences into one non-clinical appointment flow. Patients see available times that fit their appointment, while the practice manages requests, statuses and follow-up from the same calendar.

The right appointment type prevents unsuitable time slots

An initial assessment will often need a different amount of time from a short review or a treatment. If they all use the same duration, the calendar may reserve too little time or leave unnecessary gaps. Tempo Booking lets you set a distinct duration for every appointment type and link the care providers who can deliver it.

Bookable times depend on more than duration alone. Practice hours, work blocks and absences together show when a linked care provider is genuinely available. An absence is reflected in the online offering, preventing patients from choosing a time that cannot be delivered within the actual working schedule.

Requests, confirmed appointments and changes remain visible in one calendar. Appointment statuses help the team understand where each booking sits in the flow. The patient's online choice therefore connects directly to the practice's current working overview, without separate calendars for the different stages of an appointment.

From online choice to visible no-show follow-up

Begin by configuring the assessments, reviews and treatments that patients may book online. For each type, set the duration and suitable care providers. At practice level, choose whether an online booking is confirmed immediately or first arrives as a request. The booking page or widget then displays only times that match this setup.

Once a patient makes a selection, the appointment appears in Tempo Booking. You manage status changes from the same flow, and confirmations, changes and reminders can be sent from it. Patient communication and the calendar overview therefore use the same current appointment rather than separately maintained information.

If a patient does not attend, you can mark the appointment as a no-show. It is added automatically to the open follow-up list and remains visible until someone completes the task. Closing that follow-up requires a resolution note, helping the team record that the outstanding item has been handled deliberately.

A practical journey with clear boundaries

Suppose your practice offers an assessment, a review and two treatments. You give each type the appropriate duration, link the available care providers and configure their work blocks and absences. A patient then chooses a treatment through your booking page and sees only times when a suitable provider is available.

Depending on the practice setting, that choice arrives as a request or is confirmed immediately. The appointment enters the calendar, messages follow its status and a later change remains visible in the same overview. If it becomes a no-show, Tempo Booking opens a follow-up item that can be completed with the required note after action is taken.

Tempo Booking manages the appointment process in this journey. It is not a podiatry record and does not store assessment results or prescriptions; healthcare billing is outside this functionality as well. The current practice workspace supports one location and does not schedule treatment rooms or equipment as separate resources.
